D3 a Vitamina do Sol

Existem três tipos de vitamina D circulando em nosso corpo: a primeira é aquela produzida na pele, denominada Colecalciferol ou vitamina D3; a segunda é a 25-hidroxi-vitamina D ou Calcidiol, que é produzida no fígado; e a terceira, que é a forma mais ativa, a 1,25-d-hidroxi-vitamina D ou Calcitriol, que é o hormônio ativo.

A vitamina D favorece a absorção do fósforo e do cálcio, fortalecendo ossos e dentes. Também age no sistema imunológico. Sua carência contribui para os sintomas de artrite, osteoporose, osteomalácia, raquitismo e deformações ósseas.

A principal função da Vitamina D3 é facilitar a absorção do cálcio pelo organismo, o que é extremamente importante para o bom desenvolvimento dos ossos e dos dentes. Ela também ajuda a prevenir algumas doenças, como obesidade e diabetes (diabesidade).

A vitamina D3, batizada por alguns como “a vitamina do sol”, é muito mais que um simples reforço para os ossos. Este nutriente também protegerá seu coração e cérebro, permitindo-os levar uma vida cheia de energia e livres de enfermidades.

danificado e criação de novo tecido ósseo;

• Proteção neuronal e controle do estado de ânimo;
• Controle da produção hormonal (especialmente insulina) e controle de peso e do apetite.

Aproximadamente 80% da população apresenta algum tipo de carência de vitamina D3. A causa mais frequente é a falta de exposição solar.

Para ser sintetizada pelo organismo, a vitamina D precisa da exposição da pele aos raios ultravioleta do sol, bastando 15 minutos para pessoas de pele clara e de 30 a 60 minutos para os de pele escura. O melhor horário para se tomar sol a fim de sintetizar a vitamina D é entre 11:00 e 13:00 h.

Dose sugerida: 10.000 unidades diárias divididas em 2 doses de 5000 ui.

Fontes naturais: óleo de fígado de bacalhau, salmão, atum, arenque, truta e sardinha, gema de ovo e fígado.

Observação: A faixa ideal no exame de sangue é entre 50-80 ng/dl. Afim de evitar o acúmulo de cálcio nos tecidos moles (artérias, coração e cérebro), a vitamina D3 deve ser sempre associada à vitamina K2 (Mk7), ao Magnésio, ao Boro e Silício quelatos.
